Golf Simulator opens at The Heke
Golf is more popular than ever, with women, men and kids all discovering the joys of chasing a white ball around outside; sometimes the ball wins, and sometimes the player comes out on top!
Our guests tell us that they are seeking activities to do alongside the dining experience. Many guests love golf, and we are just 400 metres from the Waiheke Golf Club, so adding a golf simulator seems like a win-win for everyone. Who can Play
Under cover and all-weather, bookings are available for one hour or two hours, for one-to-four players per bay. There is scope to have more players with different game functions, and this will suit larger event groups. For now we have a minimum age of players 13 years old and above - this is an adult activity.
Our custom-built Golf Centre features two bays, and state-of-the-art technology. You can order food and drinks from the restaurant while you play, and we’ve created an outdoor bar and kitchen for summer fun.

We book 55 minute play time, starting every hour.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your session. If you arrive late, you will miss out on play as your session will still finish 5 minutes before the hour, even if you have not finished your ‘round’.
We have two bays that suit 1-4 players. 6 is the absolute maximum per bay & will impact game time per player.
If you wish to play as close as you can to full 18 holes, book two hours.
For bookings of 6-10 you can book two bays simultaneously, and play in teams.
We welcome larger groups, for game and team play, and we offer per-head packages.
$80 per bay, per hour, on Fri, Sat and Sun for 1-4 people ($20 pp based on 4 players).
$40 per bay per hour, on Mon, Tues, Weds and Thurs, for 1-4 people ($10 pp based on 4 players).
The Technology
The FlightScope Mevo+ is a launch monitor and simulator that uses patented FlightScope Fusion Tracking technology to provide golfers with accurate golf performance data. Fusion Tracking technology is an innovative combination of 3D Doppler tracking radar technology and synchronised high speed image processing that helps provide users with the most accurate and consistent data for every shot.
