GROUP EVENTS AT THE HEKE

Nestled amidst four acres of stunning gardens, The ‘Heke offers an idyllic setting for unforgettable group events. Our venue promises delightful hospitality with a personal touch, delivering unique experiences complemented by premium food and drinks served with genuine warmth and smiles.

Adjacent to The ‘Heke restaurant is our state-of-the-art brewery and distillery. With its own luxe bar, tasting room and Barrel Hall, this private space proudly hosts beautiful events and showcases our renowned brands, Waiheke Whisky and Waiheke Brewing Co.

We’d love to host your special birthday, team party, Christmas party, family reunion, wedding and day-before or day-after wedding celebrations. We are perfect for corporate offsite meetings and company family days.

Surrounded by gardens, The Heke Restaurant is perfect for a relaxed style lunch or dinner event. With options to book areas for smaller groups, larger areas or full exclusive hire of the entire Restaurant - The Heke Restaurant is a place to relax and enjoy our world class food, award winning beverages with stunning views of the gardens. Our restaurant is undercover but can open on all sides to the outdoors. We also have generous garden seating when weather permits. Enjoy relaxing under the shade in the warmer months, or gather around our fireplace in winter - The Heke restaurant is a versatile venue to suit every need.

THE HEKE RESTAURANT

A stunning, luxurious bar built to showcase our Whisky, Beer and Spirits. Used for pre booked tastings in the daytime, also available for separate hire for groups of up to 30, and for larger functions together with our Barrel Hall.

THE BOILERMAKER BAR

Overlooking our Brewery and Distillery and surrounded by whisky barrels, the Barrel Hall is the perfect setting in terms of exclusivity and ambiance. You will have an exclusive area for your guests to enjoy a wonderful afternoon or evening. You’ll even have your own bathrooms.

The Barrel Hall can be set up with long tables to seat up to 60 guests, or stand up style for larger groups.
