The meaning of Valentine’s Day has mostly been lost in the fog of time, although Wikipedia has quite a lot to say about it; but we think any reason to remember why we love someone, and to tell them, is a good reason.

We’re going to order in extra fish Te Matuku WAIHEKE ISLAND oysters and offer a glass of bubbles to anyone who lets us know they have booked for lunch or dinner here on Valentine’s Day. There’ll be some little chocolate hearts wrapped in red foil to share too.
